MGM Resorts and BetMGM Extend Major League Baseball Partnerships

Multi‑year deals deepen collaborations on fan experiences, responsible gaming and co‑branded content

MGM Resorts International and its sports‑betting subsidiary BetMGM have announced the renewal of their agreements with Major League Baseball, extending a partnership that dates back to 2018.

Under the new multi‑year contracts, MGM Resorts will continue to serve as the league’s exclusive Integrated Resort & Casino Partner, while BetMGM will retain its role as the official gaming and sports‑betting partner.

The collaboration is designed to deepen fan engagement through high‑profile events such as MLB Awards Week in Las Vegas and the creation of co‑branded casino games that blend baseball themes with wagering options.

Expanding the Fan Experience

Both companies have emphasized responsible gaming, highlighting initiatives like the GameSense program, which offers tools to help players maintain control, and a strict anti‑athlete harassment policy intended to protect the integrity of the sport.

Lance Evans, Senior Vice President of Sports & Sponsorships at MGM Resorts, said the extensions align with the company’s long‑term vision for global sports and entertainment, while Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer of BetMGM, pointed to shared commitments to innovation, integrity and responsible play.

Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed excitement about continuing the relationship to deliver unique experiences for fans across the United States and Canada, noting the partnership’s reach across teams such as the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.
