Head coach Puzo was celebrated as the 2025 MAC Coach of the Year after guiding the squad to a perfect blend of defensive solidity and offensive firepower, a feat that resonated throughout the conference.
Championship Dominance
The RedHawks secured both the MAC regular‑season championship and the tournament title, a double triumph that underscored their consistency and depth across the schedule.
Their defensive unit, anchored by Berta Mata, led the conference in fewest shots allowed, shots on goal conceded and corners faced, establishing a reputation as one of the most difficult backs to break down.
On the offensive side, Justi Intzes was prolific, netting 18 goals overall, including 12 in MAC play alone, which placed her second among all conference scorers and highlighted the team’s scoring breadth.
