Season Overview
The University of Miami’s women’s basketball program has released its full 2026‑27 schedule, promising a rigorous 31‑game campaign that begins with a home showdown against James Madison on November 2. The RedHawks enter the season as defending MAC champions, aiming to extend their recent dominance in the conference.
Millett Hall will host 14 contests, providing the team with a familiar environment as it seeks to protect the multiple MAC titles earned in the previous year. The home slate includes a rematch with Toledo, a rematch of the MAC Tournament Championship Game, as well as matchups against UMass, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Ball State, Kent State, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Ohio.
Beyond the familiar confines of Oxford, the RedHawks will travel to face a diverse set of opponents, including Southeast Missouri, Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky, Ohio State and Green Bay. Early‑season road tests also feature a stint in the Cancun Challenge, where Miami will meet Cincinnati on November 26 and Kansas on November 27.
The non‑conference slate also includes games against Bellarmine, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Oakland and Indiana State, while the team will test itself against Sun Belt competition on February 6. The regular season will wrap up with a series of home games that culminate in a March 6 contest against Ohio, setting the stage for the conference tournament.
The MAC Tournament itself will unfold in Cleveland, Ohio, from March 10 to March 13, offering the RedHawks a final opportunity to add another title to their résumé before the season’s end. Fans can secure season tickets now, with prices ranging from $66 for faculty and staff to $101 for courtside seats.
