Miami University’s field hockey program has released its 2026 schedule, a slate that blends ambitious non‑conference road trips with a home‑grown Mid‑American Conference Tournament in early November.
Power‑4 Challenges and Home Tournament
The lineup promises six contests against Power‑4 opponents, including marquee matchups versus Louisville, Indiana, Michigan State and others, setting the tone for a season that aims to test the RedHawks against the nation’s elite.
The regular season opens in late August with home games against Louisville and Indiana, while a Sept. 4 showdown at home against Michigan State follows. The team will then travel to face Iowa, Northwestern, Liberty and New Hampshire as part of a demanding non‑conference stretch.
Junior forward Sloane Wearren said the schedule is a clear signal of the program’s intent to compete at the highest level, adding that the squad is eager to translate preparation into performance.

Mid‑American Conference play begins on the road at Longwood on Sept. 17, after which Miami will host a series of home MAC contests against James Madison, Appalachian State, Ohio and Kent State, providing a chance to rally local support.
