The University of Michigan baseball team is set to travel to central Florida for the inaugural Orlando Baseball Classic scheduled for February 2027.
Inaugural Orlando Baseball Classic
The six‑team field will see the Wolverines open against St. John's on February 26, followed by a matchup with UCF on February 27 and a showdown with West Virginia on February 28.
Adding to the competitive edge, Pittsburgh and Indiana State round out the roster, bringing together a mix of programs that enjoyed varying degrees of postseason success in 2026.
A Venue With a Rich Baseball Legacy
The games will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, a 9,500‑seat stadium that opened in 1997 and has served as a spring training hub for the Atlanta Braves, a venue for minor‑league teams, Tampa Bay Rays contests and even the 2006 World Baseball Classic.
The complex previously hosted the 2001 Atlantic 10 Conference baseball tournament and continues to attract major collegiate events.
Fans can secure tickets and fan packages beginning August 28, 2027 at 10 a.m. through the official site OrlandoBaseballClassic.com.
With the combination of top‑ranked opponents, a storied venue and early‑bird access to packages, the upcoming classic promises a compelling start to the 2027 college baseball season.
