Michigan High School Baseball and Softball Coaches Announce 2026 All‑State Selections

Top performers from Division 2 and 3 earn first‑team honors, with several committing to collegiate programs

The Michigan High School Baseball and Softball Coaches Association has unveiled its 2026 all‑state rosters, a yearly snapshot that celebrates the state’s most accomplished high school athletes.

Baseball First‑Team Standouts

In Division 2, Parma Western’s Lincoln Levy earned a spot on the first team, while Grass Lake’s Luke Guthrie secured the same honor in Division 3 and has committed to continue his career at Kellogg Community College. Jackson Lumen Christi contributed three players — Wes Learned, Chase Dukate and Jack Fitzpatrick — who also made the Division 3 first team, alongside Conor Rentfrow and Jackson Fossitt from Brooklyn Columbia Central.

Softball First‑Team Excellence

The softball first team features a strong contingent from Grass Lake and Brooklyn Columbia Central, with Lily McVicker, Ava Smith, Makenzie Hilberer, Leilah Smith, Morgan Conrad and Hailey Wetherby all earning the nod. Brooklen Minix of Homer and Kennedy Collins of Grass Lake received honorable mentions. Hailey Wetherby, who recorded 157 strikeouts, posted a 1.80 ERA and batted .457, has signed to play at the University of Akron.

These selections underscore the depth of talent emerging from Michigan’s high school programs and hint at a promising future for the athletes as they transition to collegiate competition.
