Noah Bright and Josh Klug were named Craig Hendricks Co‑Spartan Spirit Award recipients, each finishing the year strong with hits in ten of the final twelve games and embodying the team’s resilient spirit.
Beyond individual honors, the program marked a historic turnaround in the 2026 Big Ten Tournament, becoming the first No. 12 seed to win two games, highlighted by an 8‑4 upset over fifth‑seeded Purdue and a 4‑3 victory against eighth‑seeded Iowa before falling 7‑0 to fourth‑seeded USC in the quarterfinals.
