Michigan State University has locked in an official visit from one of its own top defensive prospects, Drew Aagesen, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman hailing from Goodrich, Michigan.
Ranked as the No. 136 defensive lineman nationally and the 24th best player from Michigan in the 2027 class, Aagesen brings a blend of size and athleticism that has attracted attention from a dozen programs.
The offer from the Spartans arrived just last week, and the recruit has already penciled in official trips to Pitt, Virginia, Iowa State and a handful of other schools, underscoring the competitive nature of his recruitment.
A Strategic Addition
Agesen’s growing list of suitors includes Pitt, Wisconsin, Virginia, Iowa State, Boston College and the University of Minnesota, each of which has extended a scholarship, reflecting the breadth of his interest and the Spartans’ push to secure a cornerstone piece for the upcoming class.
