Huskies Unveil 2026‑27 Schedule
The Michigan Tech Huskies hockey program released its 2026‑27 schedule, a 34‑game slate that blends 26 contests in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association with 16 home games at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
The season opens with a much‑anticipated series against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, marking the first home‑opening matchup for the Huskies in over a decade.
After the opening weekend, the team travels to St. Cloud State for a non‑conference series before returning home for the Hall of Fame weekend when the Alaska Nanooks visit Houghton.

The team then embarks on an eight‑game stretch across the Upper Peninsula, facing opponents such as Augustana, Lake Superior State, and Bowling Green, before concluding the regular season with home games against Bemidji State in late February.
The schedule culminates with the CCHA Mason Cup Playoffs in March, where the top four teams will host best‑of‑three series, leading into the NCAA Tournament regional play in early March and ultimately the Frozen Four in Washington, D.C., scheduled for early April at Capital One Arena.
