Michigan Technological University has released its men’s basketball schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a 28‑game lineup that balances nonconference challenges with a full GLIAC slate.
Early Nonconference Road Trips
The season opens with a two‑day stint at the JustAGame Crossover in Wisconsin Dells on November 13 and 14, where the Huskies will face a yet‑to‑be‑announced field before returning home.
November also brings a four‑game home stretch, with victories over Concordia‑St. Paul, Minnesota Duluth, Marian and Winona State scheduled for consecutive Saturdays.
Florida Swing and Conference Kickoff
After the home stretch, the team travels to Florida for a December 18‑19 doubleheader against Florida Southern and Post, then heads back to the Midwest to begin GLIAC play with road games at Parkside and Roosevelt.
January features a three‑game road swing at Ferris State, Davenport and Northern Michigan, followed by a trio of home contests against Wayne State, Saginaw Valley State and Lake Superior State.
The season culminates with five straight home games in February against Purdue Northwest, Grand Valley State, Northern Michigan, Wayne State and two additional GLIAC opponents, rounding out a schedule that extends the school’s partnership with FloSports through 2031.
