Andrew Marsh, a sophomore wide receiver for the Michigan Wolverines, is entering his second season with the program after a breakout freshman year that saw him record 45 receptions for 651 yards and four touchdowns.
Marsh has decided to revert to the number three jersey, a digit he has worn since childhood, signaling both nostalgia and a fresh start as he aims to build on last season’s success.
A New Offensive Identity
He expressed enthusiasm for the new offensive scheme, noting that the added flexibility should make the unit more efficient and keep defenses guessing.
The arrival of newcomers Jaime Ffrench and JJ Buchanan has added depth to the receiver corps, and Marsh said he is eager to see how the group clicks on the field.
Marsh highlighted the rapport he shares with quarterback Bryce Underwood, while also praising the development of the secondary, which he believes will be a key factor in the team’s overall performance.
He praised coach Micah Simon for being relatable and smart, believing the coach’s leadership will help the team improve, while also emphasizing his personal goal to increase his speed and be the best at his position for the team.
