Projected Wolverines offense
The quarterback position is set to be led by Bryce Underwood, who has emerged from three weeks of fall camp as the clear starter. Backup duties will be contested by Tommy Carr and Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, both of whom are expected to provide depth as the team prepares for its opening game.
At running back, Jordan Marshall is locked in as the starter, even as five‑star freshman Savion Hiter draws considerable attention. Marshall's experience and proven production give him the edge for the opening week.
The wide receiver corps features Andrew Marsh and JJ Buchanan as the top two options in the projected lineup. Jaime Ffrench is currently favored to start, while Channing Goodwin, Salesi Moa and Travis Johnson are all battling for the third‑receiver slot.
Zack Marshall is slated to begin at tight end, with a rotation that includes Kyle Whittingham, Freddie Whittingham, Hogan Hansen and Deakon Tonielli. Their versatility will be key in maintaining a dynamic passing attack.
On the offensive line, Blake Frazier has shifted to interior positions, and Nate Efobi has been elevated to starter, filling the gap left by Andrew Babalola, who missed part of camp due to injury. The line's cohesion will be tested as the team approaches game day.
Michigan's official depth chart will not be released until the team steps onto the field, but coach Kyle Whittingham's observations during fall camp have shaped the current projection. The lineup reflects a blend of established starters and emerging talent as the Wolverines aim for a strong start and a potential College Football Playoff run.
