Big Ten media days are set to return to Chicago in 2026 after a stint in Indianapolis and Las Vegas, running from July 28 through July 30 and featuring press conferences from all 18 member schools.
A Strategic Shift for the Program
Michigan will break from its long‑standing practice of sending three senior representatives, opting instead to bring forward a trio of emerging stars.
The group includes sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood, redshirt sophomore running back Jordan Marshall and senior defensive tackle Trey Pierce, each of whom brings a different class and skill set to the event.
Adding to the storyline, Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham will represent the Wolverines for the first time, marking his debut after 21 seasons leading the Utes.
Michigan’s appearance will come on the final day of the conference’s media schedule, July 30, and it will be the first time in more than a decade that a quarterback has been selected to speak for the Wolverines at the gathering.
