Mid-Hudson Athletic League Announces Championship Schedule for May 16
The Mid-Hudson Athletic League announced that its baseball and softball championship schedule will take place on Saturday, May 16, at Cantine Field in Saugerties, New York
Lorenz Field will host the National Conference final featuring a showdown between Highland and Pine Plains kicking off at 10 a.m.
Cantine Field will serve as the venue for the American Conference final where Saugerties is slated to meet either Marlboro or the winner of a prior matchup also scheduled for 10 a.m.
Current standings show Saugerties holding a half‑game lead in the American Conference adding extra intrigue to the upcoming contest
The two baseball semifinal winners are set to meet on the Cantine complex roughly 30 minutes after the morning games conclude
Meanwhile the softball semifinals will also be held at the Cantine complex later in the day ensuring a full slate of competition
The championship final is slated to begin at 2 p.m. with the American Conference winner earning home‑team status for the decisive game
