Tuesday night brought a trio of victories for girls soccer programs in central Missouri, each securing a spot in the next round of their respective district tournaments.
Capital City edged Marshall 3‑1, a result that advances the team to the district championship game on May 21, where they will meet Summit Christian Academy.
Southern Boone, meanwhile, posted a 6‑1 win over Moberly, setting up a district title clash with Father Tolton on the same May 21 date.
Eugene also moved forward after a dramatic 4‑3 penalty shootout triumph over Christian Fellowship in the Class 1 bracket, and will now face the victor of the Duchesne‑Canton contest on May 23.
