Middle Tennessee State University’s men’s basketball team is slated to open its 2026‑27 non‑conference slate with a marquee road test at Allen Fieldhouse, where it will meet the Kansas Jayhawks on Nov. 6, 2026.
The matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs since November 2000, a span that has seen the Blue Raiders compile a 0‑3 record against Kansas, including two defeats in Lawrence.
A Milestone for the Blue Raiders
Last season the Raiders posted a 17‑15 overall record and fell in the Conference USA Tournament to Louisiana Tech, while the Jayhawks finished 24‑11 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Round of 32.
