A 44‑year‑old man from Midland appeared in court this week facing three felony assault charges after an alleged attack with a baseball bat.
James Pribbernow was taken into custody by deputies from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office on June 11 in Lee Township, where the incident unfolded.
Magistrate Sets Bond
During his arraignment before Magistrate Gerald Ladwig in the Midland County District Court, Pribbernow was ordered held on a $25,000 bond, allowing him temporary release pending further proceedings.
The alleged victims — a 43‑year‑old man and two 19‑year‑old males — were present at the scene but sustained no physical injuries, according to court records.
Next Court Date
Pribbernow’s case is slated for a probable cause hearing on June 23, with Judge Michael Carpenter presiding over the matter.
Authorities have indicated that the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges could be filed as new evidence emerges.
