The Midwestern League (MWL) has announced its annual baseball and softball awards, recognizing the standout performances of the 2026 season.
Baseball Honors
North Eugene High School led the baseball recognitions, with Duncan Roudabush earning Player of the Year after a season that placed multiple Northmen on the first‑team roster.
Pitcher Michael Buschelman from the same school captured Pitcher of the Year, while Coach Kenny Niles was named Coach of the Year for guiding the team to a dominant campaign.
The first‑team list also includes standouts from Ashland, Eagle Point, Churchill, Thurston and Crater, reflecting a league‑wide spread of talent.
Softball Accolades
On the softball side, Crater junior Ally Nottingham was crowned Player of the Year, capping a breakout year that saw her dominate the infield.
Churchill freshman Jaylee Litten received Pitcher of the Year honors, and the co‑coaching responsibilities were shared by Chris Arnold of Crater and Nick Boyles of Churchill, who were jointly named Co‑Coaches of the Year.
The softball first‑team roster draws players from Churchill, Eagle Point, Thurston, Crater and Ashland/Phoenix, while the second‑team includes additional stars from Crater, Eagle Point, Ashland/Phoenix, Churchill, North Eugene and Springfield.
These awards underscore the competitive balance across the Midwestern League and highlight the emerging talent that will shape the next generation of high school athletics.
