Ring Ceremony and Community Parade
A ring ceremony held on August 8 at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art honored the champions, where university President Stacia Haynie, head coach Michael Meechum, and athletics director Kyle Williams delivered remarks celebrating the team's character and determination.
The following day, a community parade on February 7 drew thousands of supporters who lined the streets to celebrate the No. 1‑ranked Mustangs, the best Division II soccer team in the nation.
Looking Forward to the 2026 Campaign
The 2026 season opens with matches against Cal State East Bay on August 27 at the UTD Soccer Complex in Dallas, followed by a home game against Southern Nazarene on September 10 at 7 p.m., promising another exciting chapter for the program.
