Milford Mill Academy eyes another championship run
Milford Mill Academy’s football program is entering its new season with momentum, a stronger roster and a clear target: a state championship. The team has posted winning records in ten consecutive seasons, highlighted by a 10‑1 campaign last year that included five shutout victories.
Head coach Reggie White, who has led the squad since 2003, believes this year’s team possesses the depth and cohesion to add another chapter to the program’s storied history. White’s philosophy blends rigorous physical conditioning with mental readiness, ensuring players are prepared both on the field and in the classroom.
The Millers have been training in the weight room since January, building strength and discipline that reflect the coach’s emphasis on holistic development. Senior running back Raemond Williams appreciates the staff’s balance of intensity and support, noting that the program’s culture demands excellence in every practice.
Junior cornerback Mason Sheppard stresses the importance of eliminating weak links to keep the team’s performance consistent, while senior lineman Blake Bradley reiterates the program’s unwavering standard: winning state championships and achieving an undefeated regular season.
The season opener is scheduled for September 4 against Dunbar at Under Armor Stadium in Baltimore, marking the first step toward the Millers’ championship aspirations.
