The University of Georgia announced that Miller Westerfield, a four-star offensive tackle from Roswell, has officially committed to the Bulldogs' 2027 recruiting class.
A Strategic Addition to the Line
Westerfield joins five other offensive linemen who have already pledged to the program, bringing the total number of linemen in the class to six and accounting for roughly one-third of the 18-player cohort.
According to the 247Sports Composite, he is ranked as the No. 390 overall prospect nationally and the No. 43 offensive tackle in the country, underscoring the talent level the Bulldogs have secured.
In making his decision, Westerfield cited the program's recent back-to-back championships as a decisive factor, stating that the Bulldogs' sustained success played a central role in his choice.
The Roswell native also revealed that growing up in a community where Georgia football is practically a religion influenced his affinity for the school, and he narrowed his options to Georgia, LSU and Tennessee before selecting Athens.
Westerfield's commitment not only bolsters the Bulldogs' offensive line depth but also signals the continued pull of Georgia's football brand on elite prospects across the Southeast.
