A new initiative called Skate It Forward reinvests raffle proceeds into local hockey programs, aiming to broaden participation and reduce financial barriers for young athletes.
The Split the Pot Raffle Program alone generated $882,747 for 24 non‑profits, underscoring the foundation’s role as the largest non‑member funding source for Minnesota Hockey.
Since its inception in 2009, the foundation has distributed more than $7.5 million in grants, while gambling‑related campaigns have raised over $9.3 million for community projects.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Minnesota Wild Foundation continues to leverage the sport’s popularity to promote health, wellness, and youth development throughout Minnesota.
