Among the newcomers, Burke‑Lee Mabeus arrives from Oregon as a proven catcher who started 46 games in 2026 and posted a .286 average with eight home runs. Carter White, an outfielder from the University of North Florida, brings a .302 batting mark and 11 homers, while Will Craddock, an infielder from South Carolina, contributed 10 homers and a team‑high 36 runs. Both pitchers Thomas Allen from Louisiana Tech and Nick Robert from Miami add depth to the bullpen, each carrying solid collegiate résumés.
Draft Uncertainty Looms
The timing of these additions is intertwined with the upcoming 2026 MLB Draft, scheduled for July 11‑12, which could affect the availability of standout players such as Kevin Milewski, Aidan Teel and Maddox Webb. Their potential entry into professional baseball may open additional roster slots for high‑school signees, a factor that the coaching staff is monitoring closely.
Outgoing transfers have also shaped the roster picture, with relief pitchers Tyler Pitzer, Dane Burns and Charlie Foster exiting the program.
