Local Teams and Their August Calendars
Warren Central and Vicksburg High have already opened their volleyball seasons, with matches slated through September, while St. Aloysius, Porter’s Chapel Academy and Tallulah Academy are set to begin softball play at Halls Ferry Park on August 8.
The golf season, shifted to the fall this year, will see Warren Central’s girls compete at Dixie Golf Club on August 10 and the boys take on Lake Caroline on August 20.
Swimmers from Warren Central, Vicksburg and St. Aloysius will dive into local meets, highlighted by the Fun in the Sun Meet at City Pool on August 22.
