The Southeastern Conference unveiled its complete 2027 men’s basketball slate on July 27, confirming a schedule that will see the Missouri Tigers open their SEC campaign on the road against Arkansas on January 2, 2027, and close the regular season at home versus LSU on March 6.
Opening the SEC season
Missouri’s first test in conference play comes in Fayetteville, where the Tigers will travel to face the Razorbacks. The matchup marks the beginning of a grueling league schedule that will stretch through March, with each team confronting a blend of veteran squads and rising contenders.
Home conference slate
Back at Mizzou Arena, the Tigers will host a series of high‑profile opponents, including Texas A&M on January 5 or 6, Kentucky on January 9, South Carolina on January 16 and Alabama on January 26 or 27. Additional home fixtures against Ole Miss (January 30), Tennessee (February 6) and Oklahoma (February 16 or 17) round out the interior of the schedule, while a second meeting with Arkansas awaits on February 23 and a rematch with LSU on March 6.
Neutral‑site challenges
Outside the SEC, Missouri will test itself against non‑conference opponents in a five‑game neutral‑site stretch that begins November 6 at home against Saint Louis and continues with contests against Marquette, Kansas, Nebraska and Illinois in December 2026. The Tigers will also participate in the ACC/SEC Challenge, hosting Pittsburgh on December 1, and are reportedly finalizing a road trip to Indiana on December 18.
