Missouri State’s men’s basketball program has locked in its non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 season, confirming six opponents that will test the Bears across the country.
Coach Cuonzo Martin said the schedule was designed to blend competitive matchups with valuable road experiences, a plan he believes will sharpen the team before conference play.
A challenging road ahead
The highlight includes a two‑game series with Iowa State, beginning in Kansas City in December and continuing in Ames the following year, giving the Bears a chance to measure themselves against a Big 12 power.
Missouri State will also travel to face Arkansas State in a return home‑and‑home arrangement, while a contest against Tarleton State will pit the Bears against a program that has quickly risen through the Division I ranks.
The Bears look to build on a 16‑18 record from last season, a campaign that featured a run to the Conference USA Tournament semifinals and a 31‑game regular season.
With the new slate, the team hopes to translate early‑season challenges into momentum as they navigate a shifting college basketball landscape.
