Missouri's offense is poised for a transformation as the 2026 season approaches, with the wide receiver group emerging as a focal point of optimism.
A Revamped Receiver Room
Quarterback Austin Simmons enters his second year as the starter, and his familiarity with the playbook has allowed the receivers to run more precise routes and create separation.
At the top of the depth chart, Cayden Lee brings the most experience, having amassed over 1,500 receiving yards at Ole Miss before joining the program, while Donovan Olugbode offers a vertical threat with reliable hands, and Caleb Goodie provides a speedy deep‑ball option.
Behind the starters, the group includes Naeshaun Montgomery, whose raw potential could translate into big plays, Kenric Lanier, the most proven of the backups, and Shaun Terry II, whose familiarity with the system adds stability.
