Community Celebration Meets College Basketball
Mizzou Women's Basketball is set to host its first ever "A Night at OurZou" on June 30 at the university's Mizzou Arena, turning the campus into a celebration of community, commerce and college sport.
Head coach Kellie Harper, who has guided the team to recent breakthroughs, said the evening is designed to shine a spotlight on the local businesses that fuel the university's spirit, while giving fans a chance to connect directly with the players.
Attendees can wander through a marketplace of local vendor booths, snap photos with the roster, explore a freshly renovated locker room, and mingle with current players during guided tours and informal chats.
The event will also feature a lineup of food trucks offering regional specialties, and each guest will receive a custom gift package that includes a signed program and a commemorative pin.
Tickets for the fundraiser are priced at $45 and are available now, with proceeds earmarked for scholarships and facility upgrades, reinforcing the university's commitment to both athletics and the surrounding community.
