Brandon Anderson, a three‑star offensive lineman who signed with the University of Missouri as part of its 2026 recruiting class, is no longer on the Tigers’ roster. The Kennesaw, Georgia native, who held upwards of 31 Division I offers, exited the program after completing spring practices, leaving a vacancy in the offensive line group.
Coach Eli Drinkwitz highlighted Anderson’s contributions during the spring, noting that the youngster earned high praise from the staff. Drinkwitz also took the opportunity to commend two early enrollees, Khalief Canty Jr. and Braylon Ellison, who impressed during the same period and are now slated to join the lineup.
Roster reshaping ahead of fall
Without Anderson, Missouri’s offensive line room is reduced to four scholarship prospects: Johnnie Jones, Brysen Wessell, Canty and Ellison. Jones and Wessell are expected to enroll this summer, though they have yet to appear on the university’s online roster.
The departure underscores the fluid nature of college football recruiting, where early enrollees can rise or fall in the depth chart within weeks. As the Tigers finalize their 2026 class, the remaining linemen will look to fill the gap left by Anderson and prove that the program’s depth can withstand such changes.
