A New Era for the Tigers' Front
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz praised the team's offensive line during a recent press conference, highlighting the group's size, depth and the hard work they have put in since the offseason.
The line features returning starters such as Cayden Green and Dominick Giudice, who are expected to anchor the unit and serve as likely team captains. Joining them are Zach Owens, Curtis Peagler, Luke Work and a host of other experienced players, including Tristan Wilson, Whit Hafer, Ryan Jostes, Will Kemna, DJ Jones, Khalief Canty Jr., Brysen Wessell, Braylon Ellison, Chace Missouri and Joe Schranz.
Battle for the Right Tackle
With Josh Atkins sidelined by injury, the competition for the right‑tackle spot has intensified. Logan Reichert and Luke Work are currently viewed as the front‑runners, while Jack Lange, a highly touted in‑state recruit, is being watched as a potential breakout candidate.
The offensive line’s primary mission is to protect quarterback Austin Simmons and to create running lanes for Ahmad Hardy, who is expected to shoulder the bulk of the rushing attack. The unit’s experience in the SEC, bolstered by players like Luke Work and Zach Owens who have faced SEC defenses, should give the Tigers a solid foundation heading into the 2026 season.
