As the Missouri Tigers gear up for the 2026 campaign, the conversation around the offensive line has become a centerpiece of preseason analysis.
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz has repeatedly lauded the unit’s work ethic and the impact of offseason recruitment, emphasizing that the line’s blend of size and experience could redefine the Tigers’ attack.
A Line Built for the Future
The Tigers return three starters who have logged extensive SEC minutes, including left tackle Cayden Green and center Dominick Giudice, both of whom are expected to anchor the front.
With each lineman listed between 305 and 344 pounds, the unit’s physical presence is matched by a depth chart that features a fierce battle for the right‑tackle spot, where Luke Work and Logan Reichert are currently the front‑runners.
Quarterback Austin Simmons will rely on that protection as he steps into the starting role, while running back Ahmad Hardy continues his comeback after a May surgery that repaired a fractured femur.
Among the younger pieces, Jack Lange has emerged as a potential breakout star, and the coaching staff is also watching Tristan Wilson, Whit Hafer, Colin Sorensen, Ryan Jostes, Will Kemna, DJ Jones, Khalief Canty Jr., Brysen Wessell, Braylon Ellison, Chace Missouri, Joe Schranz and Josh Atkins for unexpected contributions.
