Major League Baseball and Little League International have teamed up to offer an exclusive ticket sweepstakes for residents of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, giving them a chance to attend the 2026 MLB Little League Classic.
The game is set for August 23, 2026, at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, where the Atlanta Braves will face the Milwaukee Brewers in the ninth edition of the event, which has welcomed 14 different MLB clubs since its inception in 2017.
A Historic Matchup at Bowman Field
The sweepstakes opens on June 25 and closes on July 9, 2026, and is limited to individuals who live within the county; winners will be announced after the entry period ends and will receive instructions for claiming their tickets.
The contest will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and ESPN Radio at 7:10 p.m. ET, adding a prime‑time showcase to the already intimate atmosphere that has made the Classic a favorite among players, coaches, umpires and their families.
Jason Fink, President and CEO of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, praised the partnership, noting that the event brings together the community’s baseball enthusiasts and highlights the region’s rich baseball heritage.
Organizers say the 2026 Classic will be hosted by MLB in collaboration with the MLB Players Association, and it will feature a substantial portion of the Little League Baseball World Series participants and their supporters filling the stands at Bowman Field.
