A blend of experience and new talent
Returning standouts headline the backfield and defensive units, while a wave of transfers and newcomers promise to add depth and versatility.
The running back group features Journey Wyche returning, complemented by transfers Kevin Lalin and Harrison Bey-Buie, as well as freshmen Kelby Glaze and second‑year player TJ Worthy, creating a balanced committee.
Linebacker corps includes returning all‑conference performer Zion Rutledge, alongside Kristian Ozane, Gavin Helton and Landon Feggins, augmented by DI transfers Bryce Washington and LaRawn Robinson, giving the unit a mix of proven production and fresh energy.
The program boasts the most wins in the Southern Conference over the past fifteen seasons, compiling a 73‑win total and a .640 winning percentage, a testament to sustained excellence.
Five alumni have surpassed the 3,000‑career‑rushing‑yard mark, including Jacob Huesman (4,051), Ailym Ford (3,928), Gwain Durden (3,686), Mike Smith (3,340) and James Roberts (3,091), underscoring a pipeline of talent.
