Monmouth’s Hawks Continue Academic Streak
The National Association of Basketball Coaches recently announced its 2025‑26 Honors Court, and Monmouth’s men’s basketball team contributed five members to the distinguished list.
Jack Collins joined the cohort for the second year in a row, while Quinn Peters, Jack Leahy, Corey Miller and Jason Rivera‑Torres also earned the academic accolade.
The NABC Honors Court comprises junior, senior and graduate student‑athletes who posted a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 throughout the 2025‑26 academic year, underscoring the balance of athletics and scholarship.
This marks the tenth straight season that Monmouth has placed players on the Honors Court, a streak that has persisted under the leadership of head coach King Rice, who has built a culture that values both competitive success and academic rigor.
