Wyatt Hunt, a Business major with a concentration in supply chain, maintains a 3.52 cumulative GPA. His on-field contributions were equally impressive: he started all 53 games at second base, batted .338, scored 46 runs and drove in 42 RBIs, placing him among the top ten in the Coastal Athletic Association for several key metrics. Beyond statistics, Hunt serves on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, helping shape campus-wide initiatives for fellow competitors.
Colin Richter, also a Business major but focused on finance, carries a 3.51 GPA. He appeared in every game as a centerfielder, starting all 53 contests and posting a .242 average while contributing 40 runs and 30 RBIs. Richter’s consistency in the lineup underscored the team’s depth and his own reliability in a demanding schedule.
Eligibility for the Academic All-District team requires a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and a demonstrable amount of playing time, standards that both athletes clearly met. Their recognition reflects a broader trend of student-athletes excelling simultaneously in the classroom and on the field.
