Mora Rulli, a sophomore forward on the Central Michigan Chippewas field hockey team, has been named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Watchlist, a prestigious acknowledgment that spotlights the nation’s most promising talent.
During her freshman season she started all 19 games and quickly became a pivotal playmaker, recording nine assists and four goals while maintaining a shot‑on‑goal percentage of 62.1, the highest on the roster.
Her contributions helped the Chippewas finish the year ranked third in points among teammates and set the stage for a 2026 schedule that opens with contests against UC Davis, California, and Stanford in the Golden State.
A Rising Star in the Mid‑West
The watchlist is reserved for student‑athletes who have earned qualifying recognition within the previous two years, such as All‑Region, All‑America, All‑Conference or national team selections, making Rulli’s inclusion a testament to her sustained excellence.
Beyond the numbers, Rulli brings an international background as an Argentinian native and a member of last year’s All‑MAC Freshman team, adding depth and global perspective to the squad.
The NFHCA’s Watchlist program is sponsored by Performance Sports Events, a partnership that underwrites the initiative and supports the growth of collegiate field hockey across the country.
