Morgan Eye Scott has been named the new head coach of the Jefferson City Girls Basketball team, commonly referred to as the Lady Jays.
Scott brings a proven track record, having compiled a 79‑52 record while leading the Lady Kewpies at Hickman High School before moving on to William Woods University.
Her return to the Mid‑Missouri area comes at a time when the Lady Jays are looking to build on a season that saw them finish 17‑5 and secure a district runner‑up spot for the third straight year.
Eight of the team’s top contributors are returning, giving Scott a solid core to work with as she implements her system.
