The Morrilton Devil Dog football program is gearing up for a packed 2026 schedule, with preseason action already on the horizon.
Preseason Matchup
The team will open its campaign on August 18 with a home game against Conway, a contest that will also serve as the annual Maroon/Gray Game, giving fans an early glimpse of the roster.
The regular season officially begins on August 28 when the Devil Dogs host Russellville at Devil Dog Stadium, setting the stage for a full slate of conference battles.
Conference Opener
The first test within the 5A West Conference arrives on September 25, when the Devil Dogs travel to face Greenwood, a matchup that could shape early league standings.
Basketball Skills Clinic
In parallel, the boys’ basketball program is offering a two‑day skills and drills clinic for students in grades four through six, scheduled for July 20 and 21 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Morrilton Intermediate School.
The clinic aims to sharpen fundamentals and foster community interest in the sport, reflecting the school’s commitment to youth development across multiple athletic programs.
