Morrilton Parks and Recreation Launches Summer Youth Baseball and Basketball Clinics

Free and low‑cost sessions for ages 4‑12 will run throughout July at city facilities

Summer Sports Clinics Return to Morrilton

Morrilton Parks and Recreation is set to kick off a series of youth baseball and basketball clinics this July, offering children a chance to learn fundamentals while staying active.

Baseball sessions will be split by age group, with the 8‑12 cohort meeting on July 7 and the 4‑7 group taking the field on July 9. Both days run from 9 a.m. to noon at the city’s ball fields, where each participant is asked to bring a glove, though equipment is available for those who need it.

Basketball clinics follow a similar schedule, with the older group gathering on July 14 and the younger group on July 16, also from 9 a.m. to noon, this time in the gymnasium of the Morrilton Community Center.

Each clinic carries a modest fee of $10 per child, and scholarships are offered to families who qualify, ensuring that cost does not become a barrier to participation.

Parents interested in registering their children can call the Morrilton Community Center at 501‑354‑4122 for details and sign‑up instructions.
