The Mt. Hood Conference announced its 2026 baseball honors this week, spotlighting the season’s most impactful performances across its member schools.
Player of the Year
Senior Ty Sconfienza of Reynolds was selected as the conference’s Player of the Year, capping a standout campaign that saw him dominate both at the plate and in the field.
Pitcher, Defensive Player, Coach
Junior Cade King from Clackamas earned Pitcher of the Year honors, while teammate Luke Brady captured Defensive Player of the Year, and JJ Winkle was named Coach of the Year.
All-League Teams
The conference released its 2026 All-League squads, naming first‑team standouts such as Sconfienza, Amari Reynolds, Zaydon Marguth, Ben Foglio, Sam Smith, Jaxon Wetzler and others across infield, outfield and utility roles.
Second‑team selections included pitchers like Jack Kiesel and Cole Migaki, infielders such as Caleb Tiede and Kaden King, and outfielders including Kamden Luebbert, while honorable mentions spanned a deep pool of emerging talent.
The recognitions reflect the competitive depth of the Mt. Hood Conference, whose member institutions — from Reynolds to Barlow and Sandy — continue to produce high‑level baseball talent that reaches beyond state borders.
