The TSSAA football season is drawing near for high schools in the Murfreesboro region, with official practice commencing on July 27 and the first games slated for August 21.
As teams ramp up, a series of preseason scrimmages will begin on July 31, offering coaches a first chance to evaluate talent before the regular season.
Scrimmage Schedule Across the Area
Blackman, Oakland and Rockvale each have three matchups, with Blackman hosting games on July 31, August 7 and August 13, and Oakland and Rockvale also meeting on August 14.
Eagleville and MTCS will meet on July 31 and again on August 7, while PCA’s lone scrimmage takes place on July 31.
Riverdale is set for contests on July 31, August 6 and August 12, rounding out a busy stretch for the local programs as they fine‑tune strategies ahead of the August 21 kickoff.
