Murray State University’s men’s basketball program has announced the signing of Pavle Nikolic, a 6‑foot‑8 forward who arrives from Serbia after a standout season in the Adriatic League.
A New Chapter for the Racers
Nikolic posted averages of 15.7 points per game, shot 53 % from the field and 34 % from three‑point range across 29 games against professional teams throughout Southeastern Europe. His performances earned him a runner‑up finish for the league’s Young Player of the Year award and a spot on the all‑tournament team after Serbia placed fourth at the 2025 U20 Euro Championship A.
Head coach Ryan Miller said the addition reflects the team’s intent to increase size and depth, noting that he has long emphasized the need for a stronger frontcourt as the Racers prepare for a demanding schedule.
With the new signing, the roster now stands with a single scholarship spot still open, giving the coaching staff flexibility as they fine‑tune the lineup ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Looking Ahead
The blend of Nikolic’s international experience and Miller’s developmental focus could position Murray State as a contender in the Ohio Valley Conference, while the program continues to attract talent from abroad.
