Racers Set Out on European Adventure
The Murray State men's basketball squad left on Sunday for a three‑week European swing that will take them to Barcelona, Mykonos and Paris, with matches scheduled across the continent through August 12.
The itinerary includes a first‑round clash in Barcelona on Wednesday, a game on the Greek island of Mykonos on August 8, and back‑to‑back contests in Paris on August 10 and 11, giving the Racers a chance to test themselves against international competition.
Head coach Ryan Miller said the trip is as much about building a shared culture as it is about basketball, noting that the summer workouts have laid a solid foundation for the upcoming 2026‑27 season.
Miller emphasized that representing Murray State abroad will leave a lasting impression on the players and the broader campus community.
The team is expected back on campus on August 12, just in time to transition into the fall semester and begin preparations for the next campaign.
