Honors Court Recipients Recognized for Academic Excellence
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) revealed its annual Honors Court list on July 15, honoring athletes who distinguished themselves in the classroom during the 2025‑26 season.
Eligibility requires players to be juniors, seniors or graduate students and to carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, a standard that more than 2,300 participants met across all divisions of college basketball.
Villanova’s Five Selections
Among the honorees, Villanova contributed five players to the roster: Devin Askew, Duke Brennan, Wade Chiddick, Malcolm Flaggs and Tyler Perkins.
Craig Robinson, executive director of the NABC, underscored the organization’s commitment to education, stating that academic achievement is a core value of the association.
The Honors Court program, now in its many years, continues to celebrate the dual dedication of student‑athletes who balance rigorous competition with scholarly pursuits.
