NAIA Sets Jack Allen Sports Complex as 2026‑2027 Women’s Soccer Championship Venue

Decatur, Alabama, will host the final, extending a partnership that highlights the complex’s world‑class amenities.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has named the Jack Allen Sports Complex in Decatur, Alabama, as the host site for the 2026 and 2027 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship finals. The decision underscores the venue’s reputation for delivering a premier championship experience for student‑athletes, coaches, administrators and fans.

A Venue Built for Excellence

Jack Allen Sports Complex has previously hosted NAIA men’s and women’s lacrosse championships and is celebrated for its state‑of‑the‑art facilities and meticulous organization. The complex’s reputation was highlighted by Austin Bennett, NAIA Vice President of Championships, who praised its outstanding amenities and the experienced local organizing committee.

The championship will feature 16 teams that advance through the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship First and Second Rounds, with the national title game scheduled for December 7, 2026, and again in 2027. Preliminary rounds will take place on college campuses, while the finals will be held at the Decatur venue, continuing a partnership with Decatur Parks & Recreation that dates back several years.

Don Dukemineer, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Decatur, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming the NAIA’s top teams, noting that the city’s infrastructure and community support make it an ideal setting for such a high‑profile event. The tournament will be broadcast across the NAIA family of networks, with live coverage available at www.naia.org/watch.

Beyond competition, the NAIA emphasizes character‑driven, education‑based athletics, a philosophy that has guided its operations since 1937. Each year more than 87,000 NAIA student‑athletes compete nationwide, earning over $1.3 billion in financial aid while participating in 30 national championships.
