Rising Stars of Naperville
The 2026 All‑State baseball and softball teams have been announced, and a handful of standout athletes from the Naperville area earned spots on the prestigious lists.
Among the honorees, Benet Academy’s Avery Miller and Lanie Rosner both received second‑team accolades, with Miller also being named the DuPage Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year.
Miller’s dominance on the mound was complemented by Lanie’s powerful bat, as she finished the season with a .482 average, 18 doubles, five home runs and 48 runs batted in.
Sophie Rosner, Lanie’s twin sister, also made the third team, posting a .442 batting average with 13 doubles, six homers and 32 RBI, underscoring the Rosner family’s depth of talent.
The Benet Academy contingent didn’t stop there; freshman Avery Burns earned third‑team honors with a .390 average, 15 doubles, nine home runs and 48 RBI, while sophomore Noel Klody was selected third team after being named the ESCC Pitcher of the Year.
Over at Naperville Central, senior Cali Lenz was recognized as the DuPage Valley Conference Most Valuable Player and also earned a third‑team spot, highlighting her all‑around impact.
Waubonsie Valley’s Alyssa Tukker broke out with a .465 average, five doubles, five triples, three home runs and 22 stolen bases, securing her place on the third team.
Metea Valley’s Tyler Gluting stood out as the sole baseball player from the region to make the All‑State list, hitting .432 with 14 doubles, 25 RBI and eight homers, a performance that capped a impressive freshman campaign.
The collective achievements reflect a vibrant high‑school sports environment in Naperville, where pitchers, hitters and baserunners alike are drawing attention from coaches and recruiters across the state.
