The 2026 NASCAR All‑Star Race is set to make its debut at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 17, 2026, bringing the iconic exhibition to the historic track for the first time.
A Revamped Competition Format
The race will be divided into three segments, with the final segment offering a $1 million prize to the victorious driver, the largest single‑race payout in NASCAR history.
Two 75‑lap qualifying shootouts will determine the lineup for the decisive 200‑lap finale, which will feature 26 competitors.
Nineteen drivers have already earned automatic spots in the finale based on past All‑Star victories, full‑time championship eligibility or recent Cup Series wins, while the remaining positions will be decided by a fan vote and performance in the earlier segments.
A Full Weekend of Racing
The All‑Star weekend will also include events from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, giving fans multiple opportunities to see top drivers in action.
Among the confirmed participants are names such as Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Daniel Suárez, Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell and many more, underscoring the depth of talent in the sport.
