2027 NASCAR Calendar Unveiled
NASCAR has officially released the complete 2027 schedule for its three national series, outlining a season that will begin with the iconic Daytona 500 weekend and wrap up with the championship finale at Homestead‑Miami Speedway.
A centerpiece of the calendar is the return of the Cup Series to Naval Base Coronado, where a race will be staged to honor the nation’s military personnel, marking the series’ continued partnership with the U.S. armed forces.
The preseason Clash exhibition race will once again take place on the high‑banked track at Daytona before the Daytona 500, giving fans an early taste of the competition.
Meanwhile, the All‑Star Race is slated for North Wilkesboro Speedway, reviving the historic venue as the venue for NASCAR’s marquee non‑points event.
The Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway will serve as the regular‑season finale, capping a 26‑race slate that also includes dates at Dover Motor Speedway and Pocono Raceway.
Dover will host a Cup Series race in 2027 after a one‑off appearance the previous year, while Pocono’s June weekend will feature events across all three national series, offering a diverse mix of competition.
Homestead‑Miami Speedway is undergoing a $20 million capital improvement project ahead of the season‑ending race, underscoring the track’s commitment to enhancing the fan experience.
