A Circuit Like No Other
The track combines fresh asphalt with sections of older pavement, concrete slabs and even a few embedded girder rails, creating a patchwork that challenges drivers to adapt their lines on the fly.
Cody Ware, who pilots the No. 51 Rocket Doctor AI Chevrolet for Rick Ware Racing, has been vocal about the aggressive, durable nature of NASCAR racing, contrasting it with more regulated sports‑car series and highlighting the parity that makes road‑course events some of the most competitive in the sport.

Race Weekend Schedule
Drivers will start with a 90‑minute track walk at 6:30 a.m. PDT on Friday, followed by a practice session at 2 p.m. PDT and qualifying at 11 a.m. PDT on Saturday, before the Anduril 250 rolls off at 1 p.m. PDT on Sunday, with live coverage on Prime Video and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The event coincides with the U.S. Navy’s 250th anniversary, adding a patriotic backdrop to a race that promises equal footing for all competitors and a weekend of unprecedented spectacle.
