A historic weekend returns to the Brickyard
NASCAR revealed its 2026 schedule this week, confirming that the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host a major race weekend in July. The weekend will be the 24th official race event of the season and will span three days, featuring practice sessions, qualifying rounds and the main races.
The premier Cup Series and the Xfinity Series, formerly known as the O'Reilly Series, will both compete on the historic 2.5‑mile oval in Indianapolis. In contrast, the Truck Series will travel to Lucas Oil Raceway for its own dedicated event during the same weekend, adding variety to the schedule.
Fans will be able to follow every on‑track moment through a suite of broadcast partners. Live coverage will be available on Fubo, The CW, truTV, FS1, TNT and the streaming service Max, ensuring multiple avenues for viewers to tune in.
The weekend will also remember Bubba Wallace’s 2025 triumph, where he edged out Kyle Larson for his first victory of the season at the Brickyard. Wallace’s win added a compelling narrative to the track’s rich history and sets a competitive tone for the upcoming 2026 event.
